Heavy Duty Vacuum Bottles are molded with thick walls that can hold full vacuum: 14.8 PSI/765 mmHg (Copolyester can hold half vacuum: 7.4 PSI/382.5 mmHg) for 24 hours, making them excellent replacements for glass HPLC containers, and ideal for applications involving liquid aspiration, cell harvesting, and degasification. Heavy Duty Vacuum Bottles are compatible with 53B and 83B VersaCaps™ and adapters, enabling easy customization of the bottle to fit your application.
Heavy Duty Vacuum Bottles are available in HDPE, Polypropylene, Copolyester, and Polycarbonate. Bottle material and volume are molded into the side of the bottle for easy identification, along with metric graduation marks certified accurate to ±5%. Polypropylene and Polycarbonate Heavy Duty Vacuum Bottles, as well as all VersaCaps™ and adapters are autoclavable, at 15 PSI and 121°C for 15 minutes.
