New design features totally clear bodies and larger interior clearances. Made of heavy, shatterproof, clear polycarbonate with vacuum exhaust port and stopcock. Holds vacuum of 740 mm of mercury for 24 hours. Polypropylene stopcock has Teflon plug. Port accepts 1/4 inch I.D. tubing. Large, ribbed knob at top center makes lifting easy. O-ring seal requires no grease and is unaffected by temperatures to 0°C. Includes 3.2 mm thick polypropylene plate with 3.2 mm perforations and center hole. Can be used with standard porcelain plates such as 12-1290.
