FILTERS - GD/X Syringe Filters Cellulose Acetate Whatman®

Whatman GD/X syringe filters are designed to provide easy filtration of hard to filter samples. Available in a wide variety of filter media choices with durable polypropylene housing. The 13mm filters are suitable for sample volumes up to 10mL and the 25mm diameter filters are recommended for sample sizes greater than 10mL. Each unit contains a unique prefiltration stack of Whatman Multigrade GMF 150(10:1µm) and grade GF/F (0.7µm) prefilters. Female Luer lock inlet and male slip Luer outlet. Autoclavable. The Cellulose Acetate (CA) membrane is surfactant-free and minimizes the risk of filtrate contamination from aqueous-based extractables. Applications include biological solutions where high loading capacity and low protein binding are important factors. Cellulose Acetate syringe filters are available sterile in a clear medical grade blister pack, gamma irradiation sterilized and enclosed in a protective shelf pack.
