Basically similar to 14-4200 but supplied with a metal handle. Handle adds balance to syringe and makes it easier to hold and use. It also retards heat transfer from the hand to the glass barrel. Rugged metal stem in the handle guides and stabilizes the smaller plunger of the syringe against bending. Allows use in applications when sampling from test tubes or long necked flasks. Syringe and plunger are replaceable. Handle is reusable. See @pageref(pg-14-4223) for replacement syringe assembly. Needle Length is 2 inches. Replacement syringe assembly for use with 14-4222. Needle length is 2 inches. Supplied without metal handle.
