WaleBoard Protective Work Surface
| WaleBoard protective work surface is a replacement for asbestos workboards. Cem-Fil glassfiber reinforced cement is a composite material consisting of a matrix of Portland cement, fine aggregate, various inert fillers and reinforced with Cem-Fil alkali resistant glass fibers. This new composite is an excellent alternative to asbestos. It is useful not only as bench tops but also anywhere chemical and fire-resistance is important. This material is non-combustible, non-electrically conductive, has low thermal conductivity, high strength, corrosion and chemical resistance and is machinable. It will not powder or chip, will not delaminate, and will not rot or mold when exposed to prolonged dampness. Cem-Fil workboards have a maximum operating temperature of 450°F (232°C) |
