| REGULAR BARN OWL PELLETS. These high quality barn owl pellets average in size from 1-1/2 inches to 2 inches long, and consist of the undigested hair and bones that owls spit up following a meal. As such, they contain valuable clues to what the owl was eating and the habitat in which the owl was hunting. Identify bones using bone charts or display your findings in the glass-topped displays offered by Acorn Naturalists. All our pellets are screened for quality and size, heat-treated, wrapped in foil, and stored in sealed plastic bags to eliminate infestation by insects. |
